Dear HSEPP Members and Friends,

Here’s our HSEPP December 2015 Monthly Digest. For now we are pleased to welcome you to share your suggestions, publications and information with us and to come to present a research paper to the HSEPP conference. 

Scholars and researchers who wish to give a lecture presenting need to send us a bio data, presentation title and abstract in English and French, as well as a proposed date. For any questions, please feel free to contact us. Lectures can be given in Khmer, French, or English.

  • Center for Khmer Studies Summer Junoir Fellowship Program

The Center for Khmer Studies (CKS), the American Research Center in Cambodia, is offering 5 American, 5 Cambodian and 5 French undergraduate students an exciting opportunity to join a 6 weeks (from Friday July 01st, 2016 to Wednesday August 10th, 2016) Summer Junior Resident Fellowship Program in Cambodia. The program provides a unique experience allowing students to live and study alongside others from different backgrounds and cultures while learning about the history and society of today’s Cambodia.

  • SEASSI Scholarships

The Southeast Asian Studies Summer Institute is pleased to announce a new source of funding for language study at SEASSI: SEASSI Scholarships . For Summer 2016, a SEASSI Scholarship consists of: 1) full payment of the SEASSI tuition, and 2) an $1100 summer living stipend. Fifteen SEASSI Scholarships will be awarded for summer 2016.
